Terms of Service

Welcome to WeekMio (the "App"). By using the App you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service; together with our Privacy Policy they form the agreement between you and us.
1. The service
On your device, the App selects highlights from your photos / videos and generates growth films; it also offers an optional "Growth Membership" subscription and "physical photo book" physical goods. Features may change as the App is updated.
2. Eligibility
You must be an adult with full legal capacity, or use the App with the consent and supervision of a guardian. You should only record your own child, or people you are legally authorized to film and use their footage; you must not record or use footage of others (especially children) that you have no right to use.
3. Your content and license
You retain all rights to the photos, videos, and films you upload / process. To provide the features you actively request (such as generating a film, a share you initiate, or photo-book fulfillment), you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process the content you select solely for those purposes. You warrant that you hold lawful rights to the content and that it does not infringe any third party's privacy, likeness, or other rights, and does not violate the law.
4. Growth Membership (auto-renewable subscription)
- Membership is an auto-renewable subscription; price and period are as shown in the App and billed through the Apple App Store.
- Unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews automatically and is charged.
- You can manage or cancel anytime in iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and the current paid period is non-refundable (except where required by law).
- Subscription refunds: billing is handled by Apple, so refunds must be requested through Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com, or Settings → Apple Account → Media & Purchases → Purchase History). We cannot refund subscription fees directly.
- Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies to the extent relevant.
5. Physical photo books (physical goods)
- After successful payment we arrange production and shipping; ordering and payment are completed through the applicable payment channel.
- Before production we provide a beautified proof for your confirmation; printing begins only after you approve it.
- Free trial books are limited (for example, one per device / account) and must not be claimed repeatedly via multiple accounts or false information; free books involve no payment and no refund.
6. Photo-book refund policy
A physical photo book is custom-made from your photos. Refunds depend on the order's stage. You can request one in the App via "Mine → Photo Book Orders → Request Refund", and we process it after manual review:

- Refund timing: once approved, we initiate the refund along the original payment path within 1–3 business days; arrival time depends on the payment channel, typically 1–7 business days.
- Refund method: returned to your original payment account, with no fee.
- What to provide: order number and refund reason; for quality / shipping issues, please attach photos for quick verification.
- If you disagree with the outcome, you can reach us via the Support email.
7. Acceptable use
You must not: upload content that is illegal, infringing, or contains others' private information without consent; reverse-engineer, crack, abuse, or interfere with the App; or use the App for any unlawful activity or to harm others' rights.
8. Intellectual property
The App, the brand name "WeekMio" and logo, photo-book templates, interface, and assets are the intellectual property of us or our licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or use them commercially without permission.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from using or being unable to use the App. These Terms do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Changes and termination
We may update, suspend, or terminate part or all of the service, and may update these Terms; material changes will be indicated appropriately. You may stop using the App and delete on-device data at any time.
11. Governing law and disputes
The conclusion, effect, and interpretation of these Terms are governed by the laws of mainland China. Disputes arising from these Terms should first be resolved through friendly negotiation.
